Using technology originally developed by NASA, to help Astronauts stay alert for long periods of time, the Smart BrainGames^® method uses your PS2^® or XBOX^® video game console, along with a specially modified game controller, to train your brain to maintain an attentive, alert condition.

Electrical activity in the brain can be measured in cycles. “Brain waves” vary in frequency from 5 to 40 cycles per second (cps). 15-18 cps is the frequency that your brain uses when you are paying close attention to something. People with attention problems (ADD and ADHD) do not produce enough of this frequency, for a long enough time, to pay attention to things that are
not very stimulating to them. The Smart BrainGames^® method uses video games and the special controller to reward you when your brain increases the 15-18 cps brainwaves, and decreases the higher- and lower-frequency ones.

Brain-wave biofeedback, or Neurofeedback, has been used to treat a variety of brain-based emotional and behavioral problems for over 20 years. Smart BrainGames^® has created the next leap forward in Neurofeedback technology, offering these benefits:
